Meet Clayton

Clayton Ashcroft is a staff mechanical engineer in the Manufacturing organization, but also serves as a Quality Engineer and customer support engineer for non-medical products and services provided by SINTX.  He has been with the company a little over five years.  He holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Utah State University where he also  successfully passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam (a prelude to the Professional Engineering Exam).  Since joining the workforce, he has completed a Green Belt and the requirements to become an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.

Prior to coming to SINTX, Clayton interned with Coors Tek Medical as a manufacturing and quality engineer.

Clayton is the youngest of six children and grew up in Logan, Utah, where he graduated from Sky View High School before attending USU.  He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys camping, hiking, trail running, rock climbing, cycling and snowboarding.  He also enjoys fishing and telling tall tales about his fishing trips.

Clayton is a valuable and reliable member of the manufacturing team.  He has great work ethics and attention to detail.  He is especially adept at data analysis and manipulation for root cause analysis, trending and process improvements.  He is a down-to-earth engineer and enjoys spending time on the production floor with the operators to troubleshoot and improve the manufacturing processes, practices and procedures.
